This is a forum roleplay, it's meant for friends to have fun with one another and be open enough to allow for diverse roleplay options.
The Fall of Erin Secundus is a thread that does not require character acceptance for, you may use characters even if they haven't been accepted yet or have been declined by the admin staff. It's the fun little invasion roleplay people can enjoy.
For the more refined plot, the sections in Subsector Stolidus represent a different timeline and place, where various factions clash and battle for control over the Forge World Arcellius, and then from there the rest of the subsector. In such, you can play anything you feel fit so long as you post up a character application and wait for it to be accepted by the staff.
The Subsector Stolidus is designed to allow most races, save for most types of Tyranids, allowing only Genestealers. It also allows for the different sub-factions within each race to come to the fore. You want to play Death Korps of Krieg? Well you can claim they're there. Imperial Fist Space Marine? Yup. Grey Knights? Indeed!
The primary thing to remember is that we're here to have fun, so try not to ruin the fun of others and just enjoy what you have.
